Jackery Explorer 5000 Plus accessories
The solar panels and add-on batteries that Jackery itself sells for the Explorer 5000 Plus. We list an accessory only where the maker states the pairing, and show that statement, its source and the date we last confirmed it.
Solar panels
| Panel | Price | One panel refills it in (est.) | Why it's listed | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Jackery SolarSaga 500 X 500W | $799 2026-10-11 | 13 sun-hours | Jackery sells the Explorer 5000 Plus with it as a kit: “Explorer 5000 Plus + SolarSaga 500 X x 2” (source, confirmed 2026-10-11) |
Refill time is our estimate, not a test: 5,040Wh ÷ (panel watts × 75% real-world output). A "sun-hour" is an hour of strong, direct sun; most of the US gets 3–5 a day, fewer in winter. The Explorer 5000 Plus accepts up to 4,000W of solar in total (Jackery's figure), so more panels charge it faster up to that limit; check the manual for how to connect more than one. Prices are Jackery's store prices on the date shown.
Add-on batteries
| Battery | Price | Capacity with one added | Fridge runtime with it (est.) | Why it's listed | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Jackery Battery Pack 5000 Plus 5,040Wh | $2,599 2026-10-11 | 10,080 Wh from 5,040 | 6.8 days from 3.4 days | Jackery's listing says so: “5000 Plus Battery Pack is compatible only with Jackery Explorer 5000 Plus” (source, confirmed 2026-10-11) |
Capacities are Jackery's published figures. Fridge runtime is our estimate (full-size fridge, 85% inverter efficiency), not a test. Jackery says the Explorer 5000 Plus can be expanded to 30,000Wh in total.
